BJÖRN FOLKOW AWARD AND LECTURE
The Björn Folkow Award has been established in recognition of the contribution made by Björn Folkow to cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology. The award is given to a person or persons who have carried out important original research on pathogenesis of hypertension.
PETER VAN ZWIETEN AWARD
Established in 2011. The Award is conferred to a scientist for his/her outstanding contribution to research on clinical pharmacology of drugs acting on RAAS (Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone-System).
SERVIER RESEARCH GRANT ON HYPERTENSION
This Euro 30.000,00 Servier Research Grant in Hypertension is awarded every 2 years for a European research proposal in the field of hypertension and related diseases with a focus on end organ damage, surrogate markers, and biomarkers. The selection is made by a committee appointed by ESH.
TALAL ZEIN AWARD
The Talal Zein Foundation has established the “Talal Zein Award” to be presented annually to a distinguished scientist from a Mediterranean country, in recognition of outstanding work related to basic science, epidemiology, pathophysiology or therapy of hypertension and related cardiovascular diseases.
PAUL MILLIEZ AWARD
The Award is conferred by the French Society of Hypertension to a French scientist acknowledged for his accomplishments in the field of hypertension.
